Job Summary: 

We are looking for a highly motivated leader to oversee the Aftermarket Parts and Inside Sales Team within AMF.  The Aftermarket Commercial Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product life-cycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, working closely with engineers, purchasing, production and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.  Establish, maintain and present key metrics for year over year growth, zero past due and on time shipments.  In addition, the leader would develop new opportunities for aftermarket revenue streams to meet customer needs in the marketplace.

How You Will Impact AMF (included, but not limited to):

  • Develop and implement aftermarket commercial strategy to drive profitable growth and exceptional customer aftermarket experience
  • Set pricing strategy and execution to deliver budgeted sales, profit margin and profit percentage
  • Drive implementation and deployment of a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system (Dynamics 365). Serve as subject matter expert and provide training and on-going support to the parts sales team
  • Support Visual Management and lean philosophies to meet continuous improvement goals. Drive a problem-solving culture within the department
  • Drive performance and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) that will include Month to Date (MTD) sales, On Time Deliver (OTD), past due order and growth. Keep the team accountable for set goals
  • Provide excellent leadership to include setting individual performance objectives; coaching, guiding, training, and motivating teammates to achieve high performance
  • Develop and implement customer experience strategy. Set clear expectations and provide training, and support to ISRs (Inside Sales Reps) to deliver on this strategy
  • Manage and calculate parts sales commissions for both monthly and quarterly participants
  • Foster an environment of partnership with outside machine sales teams, purchasing, manufacturing and assembly to improve lead time for orders
  • Work alongside the R&M (Repair and Moderation) department to ensure its continued growth through a collaborative team effort
  • Work collaboratively with other AMF global aftermarket teams to create common processes and customer experience
  • Track critical parts though the manufacturing, assembly and purchasing process to help keep orders on track. Prioritize rush order request by customers

What You Need To Succeed (included, but not limited to): 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years managerial/leadership
  • Experience in parts sales preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • MRP / ERP Operations Understanding
  • AS-400 experience helpful but not required
  • Basic technical understanding of machine functions and design
  • Experience supervising staff to include performance management and coaching
  • Ability to motivate team to achieve positive results

Working Conditions (included, but not limited to): 

  • Office environment with daily trips to the production floor and stockroom
  • Occasional trips to customer sites
  • Some occasional weekend work may be required to satisfy customer breakdown events
