AMF Hires General Manager for Tucker Facility

Richmond, VA – April 18, 2017 – AMF Bakery Systems announced today the appointment of Jamie Bryan as General Manager of AMF Bake-Tech in Tucker, Georgia. Bryan will be responsible for leading the Tucker teammates as they design, engineer, and manufacture the industry-leading Bake-Tech Continuous Proofer, Oven, Cooler, and Conveying Systems.

Bryan joins AMF Bakery Systems from Manchester Tank, a pressure vessel manufacturer, where as General Manager he focused on reducing lead times, improving production efficiency, and driving improvements to reduce quality issues and product defects.

“Coming from outside the baking industry, Jamie brings fresh thinking and strong leadership experience with engineered-to-order manufacturing and custom engineering businesses,” said Colin Powell, Global Vice President of Operations for AMF Bakery Systems. “He has a track record of success developing high performing teams and delivering exceptional business results. With his knowledge and experience in continuous improvement principles, Jamie will play an important role in leading our Tucker team on the MarkeLean journey.”

Bryan has a Master of Business Administration from Kent University. He also achieved a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering during his continuing education from Purdue University.
