AMF Bakery Systems provides best-in-class system solutions for industrial bakeries worldwide. With sustainability in mind, we developed the first industrial hydrogen oven to help our customers reduce daily food and energy waste. AMF’s Netherland locations in Gorinchem, Bunschoten, and Nieuwleusen employ over 170 teammates providing a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to be part of its team as a Project Manager.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, collaborative, and possess excellent communication skills. This candidate should have a proactive approach to managing client issues and making decisions. As an AMF Project Manager, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of a project, which can include single or multi-unit systems sourced from different product groups. Your responsibilities will include setting achievable deadlines, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring project deliverables fall within the specified scope and budget. This role offers exciting opportunities to travel internationally to work closely with our customers.
Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Project execution from inception through completion while simultaneously guiding a multidisciplinary team (occasionally multi-site)
- Ability to manage simultaneous global projects
- Define technical processes
- Work with customers on requested equipment and proactively assist customers in their qualification and validation activities included in the project
- Control project scope, schedule, and budget relative to the established baseline
- Drive the continuous deployment and improvement of processes through the Markel Business System
Requirements:
- Minimum of a technical degree and experience or education in the technical engineering field
- A proven track record in managing complex projects
- A customer focus and understanding of production deadlines
- Familiarity with various manufacturing process technologies and engineering to order
- Ability to work independently
- Good judgment, a positive attitude, and an innovative spirit
- Commitment to continuous improvement through problem-solving and employee involvement
- Strong leadership, employee mentoring, and coaching skills
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to liaise with multiple cross-functioning teams while driving alignment
- Strong communication, administrative, and computer skills
- The ability to travel internationally for 25% of the time
- Proficient in English (Speaking and Writing)
