Job Summary: 

AMF Bakery Systems is seeking a driven and self-motivated Regional Account Manager to develop new business opportunities for AMF Bakery Systems in Sheeting, Depositing, and Laminating applications across multiple product categories in the western United States.  This position will be partnering with Engineering, Project Management, and Marketing teams to deliver superior products and solutions to our clients.

How You Will Impact AMF (included, but not limited to): 

  • Develop and execute a strategy for establishing new customer relationships and business opportunities
  • Develop and execute a revenue growth strategy for existing customers leading to the additional sales of products
  • Partner with the Marketing team to develop marketing materials for customers
  • Execute thorough customer account analysis and prepare reports of field activities and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) against targets and forecasts
  • Attend quarterly Sales review meetings with the Sales Director
  • Identify required regional visits and plan specific customer meetings
  • Maintain customer relationships, respond to and anticipate customer needs and address any issues raised by customers in a timely manner
  • Prepare proposals for customers based on their requirements
  • Partner with the New Product Development team to research/develop new products/ranges
  • Partner with project managers to deliver products and solutions per contract requirements
  • Negotiate contracts to include commercial terms, pricing and fulfillment of all agreed upon requirements
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks

  • Willingness to travel +50% of the time (weekend travel may be required to accommodate customer’s schedule)
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of processing and baking of specialty products such as pastry, croissant, pizza, cake, and pie

Required Skills (included, but not limited to): 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Bakery Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in food processing equipment or relative B2B sales (bakery industry equipment preferred)
  • Valid US or Canadian driver’s license
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Dynamics365 or Salesforce preferred)
  • Experience with AutoCAD software, and ability to interpret layout drawings
