Job Summary:
We are searching for a talented Service Manager to join our customer service team at AMF Gorinchem in The Netherlands. If you are driven and can manage a team of field service technicians while implementing processes that boost revenue, you may be a good fit.

How You Will Impact AMF:

  • Daily management of the team (Field Service Technicians, Project Managers, etc.) in charge of repairs, (preventive) maintenance and installation, and commissioning visits, including scheduling field service technicians
  • Coordinating with project managers to book installations and commission resources
  • Drive the weekly revenue targets
  • Ensure accurate work preparation in cooperation with Engineering, SCM, Assembly, etc.
  • Train and coach Field Service Technicians and others on the team
  • Annual goal setting and performance evaluation
  • Inspire an understanding of customer care on the team and ensure proactive follow up on sales opportunities
  • Drive daily management and weekly review meetings
  • Manage quoting and administration of service-related activities in collaboration with the finance department
  • Report team KPIs (revenues, OTD, etc.)
  • Implement new protocols for installations, preventative maintenance, and repairs
  • Support the General Manager of Services in developing new business service plans to enhance service and revenue with a focus on customer retention
  • Drive the continuous deployment and improvement of processes through the Markel Business System (MBS)

What You Need To Succeed:

  • BS or BA Degree in Engineering, Business or Customer Care
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a manager of customer service in a manufacturing or technical support environment
  • Mastery of lean and growth related tools
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems
  • Excellent people management skills, organized and driven
  • Used to working in a fast-paced environment and tracking KPIs
  • Superior training, facilitating, and consulting skills
  • Excellent process improvement and change management skills
  • Excellent in Word and Excel
  • Sense of humor and team player mindset
  • Excellent in written and spoken Dutch and English
