Position Summary:
AMF is searching for a Warehouse Operations Manager with a continuous improvement mindset. The leader will oversee cataloging and storage, execute action plans, and maintain and follow safety protocols for teammates and equipment.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: (Included But Not Limited To)

  • Ensure timely and accurate receipt and issuance of all internal and external receipts within ERP/Microsoft 365
  • Manage and maintain inventory accuracy by continuous improvement processes and cycle counting
  • Achieve warehouse operations objectives by completing, maintaining, and sustaining action plans for safety, productivity, quality, and customer service standards
  • Schedule and balance teams to ensure proper staffing for peaks in all warehouse areas
  • Oversee and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments for both international and domestic shipments
  • Ensure continuous improvement and maintenance of warehouse operations systems by determining product handling, storage, picking, staging, and delivery for multiple business lines
  • Create a sense of urgency, cultural commitment, and excitement at all department levels utilizing continuous improvement, problem-solving, and mentor the shipping and warehouse team
  • Create and maintain a cross-trained team in all and warehouse functions
  • Respond to departmental inquiries and complaints
  • Maintain and drive a safe and secure working environment
  • Manage and maintain work order shipments for month-end processing

Education & Experience:

  • BS or BA Degree in Business or combination of related work and education
  • Experience and proven track record in inventory control practices and accuracy
  • In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for warehouse operations  
  • Prefer Experience in best-in-class manufacturing companies recognized for their continuous improvement (CI) culture
  • Must have experience in ERP systems, preferably Microsoft 365
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
