In particular, the company exports pasta mixers, conveyors, coolers, slicers, baggers, and several other industrial bakery machines. AMF Canada employs more than 150 people in Sherbrooke, providing a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to be part of its team as a Mechanical Assembler.
Primary Duties:
- Read and follow engineering drawings
- Plan the order of operations and carry out the assemblies
- Integrate various mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems into machines according to plans and specifications
- Perform quality testing/inspecting to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards
Qualifications and Requirements
Knowledge:
- Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Read and interpret mechanical plans
Required Skills:
- Ability to work under pressure (tight schedule)
- Ability to analyze et solve problems
- Deep sense of responsibility, autonomy, and initiative
- Dexterity and versatility
- Written: Advanced French and intermediate English
- Spoken: Advanced French and intermediate English
Qualifications:
- DEP professional diploma in industrial mechanical or any other relevant discipline
- 0-2 years of experience
