The welder-assembler will work with oven equipment and manage tight deadlines to effectively meet our customers’ requirements and achieve team goals.

Primary Duties:

• Use the required welding process based on the type of metal used (thick or sheet metal, mild steel, aluminum, stainless steel)
• Cut using a torch, plasma cutter, and arc-air

Knowledge:

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Knowledge of TIG welding and FCAW (Flux Core) welding
• Knowledge of reading general plans and sheet metal plans

Ability:

• Proficiency in skillfully welding type 304 stainless steel with a #4 finish
• Autonomy and resourcefulness

Required Skills:

• Written: Advanced French and intermediate English
• Spoken: Advanced French and intermediate English

Qualifications:

• DEP (Diplome d’études professionelles) and/or ASP (Attestation de spécialisation professionnelle) in welding or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience
