Duties Include:

Skid|Crate Builder

The Builder will work as a cross-functional team member working with multiple departments to complete the assigned tasks. The main areas the teammate will work with are shipping, manufacturing, and warranty. The main tasks include building skids/pallets, cutting raw material, packing the crates/skids, and other assigned tasks.

Duties Include:

Repair & Modernization Engineer

The Engineer will grow the Repair & Modernization business, support customers and teammates with technical questions, and analyze customer data using our new SOS (Sustainable Oven Service). This individual will collaborate with their Customer Care teammates, engineering teammates, and sales colleagues. In addition, this person will support customers experiencing technical issues with AMF’s installed equipment with a primary focus on software issues. The ideal candidate for the role should have a robust customer-centric approach and be motivated to develop, build, and support customers with technical solutions. The candidate must be able to work independently and have a passion for working collaboratively to build and share knowledge throughout the company.

Duties Include:

  • Partner with AMF R&M leaders and AMF Engineering to proactively develop and manage R&M Solutions for our customers. In addition, educate our customers on AMF Digital solutions and look for opportunities at our customer locations to implement them.
  • The Repair & Modernization Engineer will be the Customer Care lead support for released digital solutions, including the SOS (Sustainable Oven Service) solution. SOS support includes but is not limited to working with oven experts to analyze data, enhance data models, and provide recommendations to our customers based on data trends.
  • Act as the first line to answer all software-related technical support calls from our customers during regular and outside of normal business hours. This includes working with 1st line support engineer(s) to manage ticketing queues, ensuring all tickets are progressed and updated at regular intervals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service including, but not limited to, proactive and responsive phone calls, troubleshooting, and researching requests for both internal and external customers.
  • Consistent and timely follow-up with customers and internal teammates.
  • Support training program development and implementation; produce documentation and develop knowledge base articles as appropriate to document customer software solutions for future use.
  • Support a safety culture, maintain zero accident environment, and ensure a safe and suitable work environment for self, teammates, and customers.
  • Travel to AMF and customer sites to support R&M and digital implementation.

What You Need To Succeed:

  • Electrotechnical expertise and troubleshooting skills relating to manufacturing machines.
  • Software: PLC programming (ladder/structured text), HMI programming, software debug/troubleshooting skills for both Rockwell and Siemens platforms.
  • Hardware: experience with Rockwell or Siemens PLC, HMI, and control components. Ability to apply hardware to machine designs. Knowledge of UL508A, NFPA 79, and CE a plus.
  • Experience managing projects.
  • Experience selling or developing R&M solutions a plus.
  • Three years of minimum experience in software development and/or internal or external customer technical support solving programming issues.
  • Displays exceptional customer service, problem-solving, attention to detail, and workload prioritization and organization.
  • Ability to pivot quickly and work well under pressure.
  • Skilled in problem-solving techniques.

Qualifications:

The Receiving Clerk will be hands-on and responsible for receiving goods, matching packing slips to goods, data entry into the ERP system, and putting goods into the correct locations.

Duties Include:

  • Match Shipments to their applicable Purchase order and perform accurate receiving data entry into the ERP system

AMF Bakery Systems is looking for a motivated and self-driven Mechanical Assembly Technician (MAT). MATs are responsible for mechanical assembly of AMF machinery, assemblies, and equipment. International Shipping Coordinator

The Coordinator will be responsible for all shipping transactions associated with AMF machines and parts from the United States to our bakery customers and AMF affiliates worldwide. The ideal candidate will have prior import/export documentation experience, excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills, a proactive customer service mindset, and excellent problem-solving skills. Duties Include:

  • Performs a wide variety of duties related to handling imports and exports and other foreign transactions
  • Controls and evaluates international transportation for raw and finished inventory and ensures proper classification and regulations are followed
  • Assists in establishing the company’s process parameters and capabilities and assembles information for management
  • Files the documents required for exports/imports promptly
  • Handles technical details relating to domestic and international transportation, such as customs regulations and any necessary documentation
  • Ensures proper classification of materials to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS code)
  • Responsible for ISF filings, posting shipments, required export/import documents, and updating and distributing in-transit reports
  • Verifies & approves both international and domestic logistics invoices and handles any issues and disputes
  • Prepares freight quotes for various departments, including sales, purchasing, and shipping
  • Follows instructions and implements policies and other duties as determined by management and in compliance with our Purchasing, Accounting, Shipping, and Sales/Parts departments

The ideal Technician will look after our customers’ service and maintenance needs. As a Field Service Technician, you will travel to client locations, install new equipment, respond to service requests, troubleshoot equipment issues, and provide technical training on company equipment. Duties Include:

  • Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively

The ideal Electrical Engineer will provide engineering design for AMF Workhorse products. This includes standard machines/systems, custom products, legacy products, and sales support. This position is responsible for hardware and software design for machine and/or control systems for assigned AMF projects. The Electrical Engineer will work with the Control Specialist to issue, maintain, and update project-related documentation. Responsibilities include assisting assembly during system build, machine/system check out, field service assistance, and installation as required.

Duties Include:

  • Electrical Machine Design, which includes all power, control systems, and electrical diagrams required to meet the customer’s specifications for each project assigned
  • Understand, design, and practice machine safety and Lean Management
  • Design control systems from concept to completion. The design and components are to be per AMF Standards
  • Assemble complete and accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for the Machine/System design
  • Design and develop Machine/System Programs per AMF Standards
  • Design and develop Machine/System Operator Interface programs per AMF Standards
  • Provide field service technicians remote support during system service calls, installation, and commissioning
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting and startup support as needed

  • Comfortable working with a wide variety of hand, electrical, and pneumatic tools and the understanding of which tools are best to use in each situation
  • Ability to assess a problematic situation, diagnose a potential issue, and repair the problem
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to safely operate a fork truck

Working Conditions:

  • Typical manufacturing facility conditions (Indoors-95% / Outdoors-5%)
  • The facility is heated in winter but not air-conditioned in summer
  • The teammate must be able to stand on concrete floors for a minimum of eight hours
  • Kneeling, squatting, bending over, and standing for long periods may be required to perform assigned tasks
  • Can occasionally be loud, especially in local areas where grinding or machine testing occurs
  • Earplugs are provided and required where posted

Other:

  • Must have own basic tools.
  • The list of Teammate-provided tools includes: box/open end/socket wrench sets, Allen wrench sets, screwdriver sets, tap handles, pliers, combination square, 9″ level, wire strippers, side cutters, and tape measure
  • English and metric tool sets are recommended
  • A lockable toolbox is also recommended
  • Safety glasses and steel-toed safety shoes are required
  • Long pants and a sleeved shirt (short sleeve at a minimum) are required
